My parents require care and support due to their health conditions. My mother has Alzheimer's and my father is a stroke survivor with hearing loss. After his stroke, I moved back home to assist them, but managing their care while working became increasingly difficult. We hired Care Mountain to provide in-home care and companionship for my mother. This allowed my father to go for physical therapy and speech therapy sessions. The caregiver assigned to my mother was experienced in managing Alzheimer's symptoms, including mood changes. She redirected Mom as needed and assistance to her in daily activities. Her compassion and kindness was really inspiring. With Care Mountain’s help we were able to get my father the rehab care he needed while leaving mom in good hands. Our parents live by themselves in Grapevine, TX. Care Mountain has been our partner for two years now, providing live in caregivers, and more recently speech therapy also for my Mom. It has been such a relief working with them after the fiascos of unreliability and questionable quality we went through with private caregivers and other national companies before we hire Care Mountain on a friend’s recommendation.

Their live in caregivers are so absolutely committed and caring for my parens -  through all the ups and downs of my parents health, the caregivers personal family issues, weather challenges, their caregivers have ALWAYS showed up for work, with a smile and have taken such great care of my parents. To manage caregivers is not easy.

Tammy has been our Mom’s caregiver for a year now and she is absolutely wonderful. After having worked with other caregivers in DFW we came across Care Mountain which was a breath of fresh air. They were recommended to us by a nurse at UT South Western.  We called and they came over for a very informative session. Right from that first meeting, they have always been thorough. Tammy has been an excellent fit for Mom.  She takes such good care of Mom and is very focused on attention to detail. She is amazing and my Mom loves spending time with her. Jacquelyn has been such a faithful and pleasant caregiver. She offered to help cover extra shifts when another caregiver needed extra days off. We are very grateful to have a dedicated caregiver caring for our father.  The staff at Care Mountain always  sent caregivers that were skilled. Jacquelyn was careful to look for ways that made sure our Dad was comfortable and well cared for.

Reneller was our father’s caregiver for a couple of years. She always looked for ways to make Dad’s days special. I believe Reneller enjoyed caring for Dad as much as he appreciated having her with him.  Care Mountain was there for our family. They listened to our concerns and preferences. We as a family spent a lot of time weighing the alternatives for care for our mother.  She had been in assisted living for several months, but the service was far less than expected for the price.  A couple of nurses familiar with in home care suggested Care Mountain and we booked an interview with them.  No pressure, just thoughtful analysis and suggestions.  Gagan answered all our questions and the process of selecting a caregiver was simple and straightforward.  We moved our mother back to independent  living and have been more than pleased with Elizabeth M!  She is proactive, experienced, polite and friendly and has been a welcome relief for all of us.  I have been in and around emergency medicine and senior care for over 30 years and a lot of senior care is very lacking. I love care mountain So much. The director Deanna is amazing and always available if you need assistance. Julia is my mom‘s caretaker and we absolutely love her. She is great with my mom and any small chores around the house that my mom needs help with!  Julia is always on time with a smiling face and ready to help in any way! I would highly recommend Julia and care mountain if you are looking for someone to care for a loved one !

I want to let you know how much we adore Jan Gilbert! She has become such an important part of our family team in caring for my mom.
