Our Mom lives in a 2-bedroom apartment in an assisted living facility and we have Care Mountain providing overnight care for her. When she was moved to the facility, we expected care 24/7 from the facility staff, day and night but that has not been the case. She is a fall risk. When she would use the call button during the nights, no one from the facility shows up to help her for 20-30 mins ! One of our neighbors recommended Care Mountain and thanks to their overnight caregivers, we can make their overnight caregivers, are reliable, punctual and effective. They take great care of her when she wakes up several times a night. They help her to the toilet and back with no issues. There have been no falls over the last year. We are grateful for Care Mountain's amazing staff and would definitely recommend them for reliable in home care services.

Care Mountain provides caregivers for my Mom who lives by herself in McKinney and has Dementia. The caregivers they have provided us have been solid - both caregivers are highly experienced in Dementia home care, and are so patient with My Mom's care needs, on both her good days and bad. Her memory is severely impacted, and hence it takes an extra amount of patience to work with her to remind her of medications, meals, and to help her with other activities like toileting and showering. The company accepts Genworth LTC insurance and helps take care of all the insurance claim submission and payment processes every month, which has been so helpful. Overall, thwy have been so professional and reliable in thwir services. Definitely recommend.

They have taken exceptional care of my 82-year-old dad through his physical therapy journey, and the progress he has made is remarkable. From day one, the team was compassionate, patient, and incredibly attentive to his needs. His therapist not only helped him regain strength and mobility, but also boosted his confidence — something that means the world to us. What stood out most was their warmth and professionalism. They were always reliable, communicated clearly, and treated my dad with dignity and respect. It never felt like a service — it felt like family caring for family. Thanks to Care Mountain, my dad is moving better, feeling stronger, and looking forward to each session. We could not be more grateful for the support and dedication they’ve shown. Highly recommend Care Mountain to anyone looking for exceptional physical therapy and caregiving support. 🌟 Special mention to Gagan, Deepti and Misty, Swathi for all the help and support.

After losing my dad a year ago, my mom's insistence on living independently in their McKinney home of 30+ years has been a constant worry for our family. Her medical conditions - insulin-dependent diabetes, Alzheimer's, and memory challenges - make it a daily struggle. But since her doctor recommended Care Mountain, we've found a new sense of hope and stability! Their compassion, patience, and responsiveness have been a blessing. Gagan's understanding and guidance have been instrumental in creating a personalized care plan that works for us. With two dedicated caregivers, both certified dementia practitioners with over 15 years of experience, my mom receives the love and support she needs 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. They go above and beyond, helping with companionship, doctor's visits, grocery shopping, medication reminders, laundry, and meals. Their kindness and nurturing spirit have made a world of difference, keeping my mom's anxiety, depression, dementia progression, and diabetes under control. Care Mountain has given us the peace of mind we desperately needed. We can't recommend them enough as exceptional care partners - they're truly making a difference in our lives!

My grandmother is 89 and lives in McKinney and has been receiving care from Care Mountain. They came highly recommended from a friend in Plano who has used Care Mountain’s servces earlier. They really took the time to get to know grandmom’s care needs and got us steady and reliable caregivers that have been good personality fit. We have 2 ladies providing round the clock care in 12 hour back to back shifts. Both ladies are very kind, detail oriented and genuinely care for her needs. She loves both of them and looks forward to seeing them every day. We appreciate the warm, gentle and professional way in which Deepti and her team at Care Mountain have taken care of us.

Care Mountain sends us a team of caregivers to cover overnight and weekend care. We have a private caregiver during the day. It is good to see that the team works well together and supports each other even though they are not from the same company. I like the integrity and professionalism of the Car4e Mountain caregivers. The staff is very well managed by the office which is not very common in home care companies at least in my experience. Very satisfied and happy with Care Mountain.

Benefits Of In-Home Care For Parkinson’s Patients

Caring for a loved one with Parkinson’s requires understanding, patience, and hands-on expertise. Each stage of the condition brings new challenges, from tremors and stiffness to mobility difficulties, medication timing, and emotional changes.

At Care Mountain, we know that Parkinson’s care involves both medical and emotional support. Our caregivers, skilled nurses, and therapists provide dependable in-home Parkinson’s care designed to ease the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the disease. With more than two decades of experience, we deliver compassionate, personalized support that promotes safety, comfort, and quality of life for both patients and their families.

In-home Parkinson’s care provides a stable and familiar environment where patients can live safely and confidently. This personalized approach allows for consistent routines, trusted caregivers, and specialized attention to each person’s needs and preferences.

Patients thrive in familiar surroundings. Staying at home helps reduce confusion, anxiety, and stress, which are common symptoms that can worsen in unfamiliar environments. A familiar setting encourages calmness, emotional stability, and a greater sense of independence.

Every Parkinson’s journey is unique. We create each care plan around the individual’s stage of progression, daily habits, and personal preferences. Our caregivers coordinate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to support movement, strength, balance, and communication. As needs change, the care plan evolves to match them.

Because Parkinson’s is progressive, consistency in care is essential. In-home caregivers provide stable, continuous support that builds trust and helps patients feel confident in their daily routines. This long-term continuity improves safety, predictability, and emotional comfort.

Our caregivers receive advanced Parkinson’s training focused on medication timing, motor assistance, and emotional reassurance. This ensures a calm, organized care routine that minimizes stress for both patients and families.

Parkinson’s affects everyone in the household. We provide consistent updates, flexible scheduling, and emotional guidance to help families navigate the day-to-day realities of care with confidence and peace of mind.

Live-In Caregivers For Parkinson’s Patients

Caring for someone with Parkinson’s requires more than medical assistance. It takes consistency, compassion, and an understanding of how the disease affects every aspect of daily life. At Care Mountain, our live-in caregivers provide 24/7 personalized support that helps patients remain safe, comfortable, and engaged in the familiarity of their own homes. With over two decades of experience, we have developed a specialized approach to Parkinson’s care that supports both patients and their families.

Our caregivers have cared for hundreds of Parkinson’s patients and understand the value of a thoughtful, patient-centered approach. We encourage families to help loved ones stay active and positive by engaging in enjoyable activities, allowing extra time for tasks, celebrating bright moments, and prioritizing the patient’s comfort and needs each day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Some of the most common conditions managed by home health care in McKinney, TX, include emphysema, Asthma, COPD, Heart Failure (also called Congestive Heart Failure or CHF) Cancer, Stroke (both ischemic and hemorrhagic), or joint replacement surgery.

In McKinney, TX, the largest group of individuals receiving informal home health care consists of senior adults with chronic health problems or disabilities. Their caregivers are often middle-aged adult children or spouses who are typically called “family caregivers”. Those are separate and not the same as “professional” caregivers – At Care Mountain, the average professional caregiver is about 45 years, has been a professional caregiver for over 15 years and has typically specialized in one or more areas like dementia or Alzheimer’s care, or post stroke recovery care. They have also had a lot more experience working with mobility equipment like hoyer lifts, sit to stand lifts, and are typically quite experienced in taking patient vitals like blood pressure, blood sugar, maintaining medication logs and working closely with skilled care professionals like nurses and therapists in the Care Mountain team.

To care for a patient at home in McKinney, TX, it is advisable to limit the number of caregivers, ideally assigning a person in good health without risk factors. Avoid extra visits, limit patient movement outside their room, and minimize the use of shared spaces such as the kitchen or bathroom. It is also considered optimal to have the same, steady caregiver taking care of a patient – frequent changes of caregivers limits quality of care, trust building and a deeper bond forming between the client and caregiver.
