In a situation with a lot of uphill battles and uncertainty, Care Mountain was able to quickly swoop in and help set up at home care for my dad. His health rapidly deteriorated as he was ongoing cancer treatment and we needed more support in order to go to work and lead our lives with peace of mind. Ade was our caregiver and she gave us a lot of confidence, a steady and warm presence. Care Mountain’s contract process was easy, straightforward and I especially appreciated that the team was always easy to reach and readily available to answer questions. I would recommend Care Mountain 10/10.Posted on Google![]()

My husband has advanced pulmonary fibrosis and is on supplemental oxygen. Our Caregivers from care mountain are very good with managing that, taking care of cleanliness (it reduces risk of infections), prepare meals and help him with medication reminders. They have great attention to detail and are with him when I am not around. Our nurse had suggested we talk to care mountain and I am glad we did. I am able to go to my job with much less stress so i am very thankful. Our families are in another country so it is good to have Care mountain's support and we are very happy with their services.Posted on Google![]()

My parents require care and support due to their health conditions. My mother has Alzheimer's and my father is a stroke survivor with hearing loss. After his stroke, I moved back home to assist them, but managing their care while working became increasingly difficult. We hired Care Mountain to provide in-home care and companionship for my mother. This allowed my father to go for physical therapy and speech therapy sessions. The caregiver assigned to my mother was experienced in managing Alzheimer's symptoms, including mood changes. She redirected Mom as needed and assistance to her in daily activities. Her compassion and kindness was really inspiring. With Care Mountain’s help we were able to get my father the rehab care he needed while leaving mom in good hands. Care Mountain’s support was truly a blessingPosted on Google![]()

Tammy has been our Mom’s caregiver for a year now and she is absolutely wonderful. After having worked with other caregivers in DFW we came across Care Mountain which was a breath of fresh air. They were recommended to us by a nurse at UT South Western. We called and they came over for a very informative session. Right from that first meeting, they have always been thorough. Tammy has been an excellent fit for Mom. She takes such good care of Mom and is very focused on attention to detail. She is amazing and my Mom loves spending time with her. Thanks to working with them, Mom has a much higher quality of life. We are happy and satisfied.Posted on Google![]()

Jacquelyn has been such a faithful and pleasant caregiver. She offered to help cover extra shifts when another caregiver needed extra days off. We are very grateful to have a dedicated caregiver caring for our father. The staff at Care Mountain always sent caregivers that were skilled. Jacquelyn was careful to look for ways that made sure our Dad was comfortable and well cared for. Reneller was our father’s caregiver for a couple of years. She always looked for ways to make Dad’s days special. I believe Reneller enjoyed caring for Dad as much as he appreciated having her with him. Care Mountain was there for our family. They listened to our concerns and preferences. We are so happy to know that they were careful in picking caregivers that were experienced with many different challenges that our father faced.Posted on Google![]()

We as a family spent a lot of time weighing the alternatives for care for our mother. She had been in assisted living for several months, but the service was far less than expected for the price. A couple of nurses familiar with in home care suggested Care Mountain and we booked an interview with them. No pressure, just thoughtful analysis and suggestions. Gagan answered all our questions and the process of selecting a caregiver was simple and straightforward. We moved our mother back to independent living and have been more than pleased with Elizabeth M! She is proactive, experienced, polite and friendly and has been a welcome relief for all of us. I have been in and around emergency medicine and senior care for over 30 years and a lot of senior care is very lacking. Care Mountain is quite the exception - I recommend them highly.Posted on Google![]()

Benefits of In-Home Care for COPD Patients
For individuals living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), managing daily life can be physically demanding and emotionally draining. In-home care allows patients to receive continuous, specialized support without the stress of frequent hospital visits or readmissions. At Care Mountain, our CHAP-certified, multi-disciplinary team delivers compassionate, clinically guided care designed to improve quality of life, reduce hospitalizations, and help patients breathe easier in the comfort of home.
Through close coordination with pulmonologists and leading healthcare systems across Dallas–Fort Worth, our COPD-specific programs ensure that each patient’s medical, emotional, and physical needs are met with expertise and empathy. This home-based approach fosters stability, independence, and peace of mind for both patients and their families.
Receiving care at home allows COPD patients to remain surrounded by family and familiar surroundings, which fosters emotional comfort and stability. This supportive environment reduces anxiety and stress while encouraging a more positive outlook on recovery. Families can actively participate in daily routines, care decisions, and emotional support, creating a stronger sense of connection and trust. The result is a compassionate care experience that strengthens both the patient’s resilience and the family’s confidence in managing COPD together.
Care Mountain’s team of caregivers brings extensive expertise in COPD management and respiratory care. Under the supervision of skilled nurses and pulmonologists, caregivers monitor breathing patterns, track symptom changes, and ensure adherence to prescribed treatments. Their specialized training allows them to provide effective breathing support, manage oxygen therapy, and recognize early signs of flare-ups before they become emergencies. This level of clinical precision and attentiveness helps reduce hospital readmissions and promotes long-term stability.
Every COPD patient’s condition is unique, which is why individualized care plans are essential for effective management. Care Mountain develops personalized care plans that consider the patient’s stage of COPD, co-existing health conditions, and lifestyle preferences. These plans may include medication management, respiratory therapy, physical rehabilitation, and education on proper equipment use, such as nebulizers and oxygen devices. By aligning care with the patient’s medical needs and daily routines, we help them maintain independence and improve overall well-being.
Consistency is key to successful COPD management. Care Mountain ensures that each patient receives continuous, coordinated care from a familiar team of professionals who understand their medical history and care preferences. This continuity helps caregivers respond quickly to changes in symptoms, provide reassurance, and build a strong, trusting relationship with patients and families alike. Over time, consistent monitoring and proactive support help reduce hospital visits and empower patients to live safely and confidently at home.
Care Mountain’s experienced team provides more than just clinical expertise—they bring compassion, patience, and understanding to every home they serve. With our trusted support, COPD patients across Dallas–Fort Worth can experience improved breathing, greater independence, and a better quality of life right where they feel most secure, their own home.
