Are you a local home health care agency? Yes. We have five offices throughout the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex, and place only nationally background checked, licensed, bonded, insured, experienced and highly reputable care givers that reside in YOUR local area.
There are over five hundred home health care agencies in the Dallas and Fort Worth Metroplex, but probably less than ten that have been around twelve or more years in this area as we have, that have NEVER had a single State complaint, and always held an A+ Rating with Greater Dallas Better Business Bureau.
Selecting a home health care agency can be challenging because there are so many in the Dallas Fort Worth area, and many of them have not been around for very long. We found the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services website to be one of the most helpful in finding a good agency. This site will list all the Texas State licensed home health care agencies, as well as their most recent inspection record and any substantiated complaints against the agency in the last three years.
Home health care agencies fall into two main categories: those considered medical home health care, which mainly work with Medicare and Medicaid, and those that are non-medical home health care agencies that accept private pay, long term care insurance and Veterans Administration Aide & Attendance. Care Mountain is a non-medical home health care agency. The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services web site will differentiate among these different classifications to make your search a lot easier.
Another reason for our outstanding reputation is that we only hire experienced and highly reputable care givers, and to minimize turnover ensure that they live local to the client’s location. If caregivers have to drive a long distance to a clients home they tend to not stay long, so we make sure this won’t be an issue for our clients. We have one of the lowest rates of caregiver turnover – most of our caregivers have had a working relationship with us for over six years!
