No matter how advanced your Loved One’s Alzheimer’s disease, your most precious gift can still be given, received, shared and enjoyed – YOUR LOVE.

Our Significant Dementia Care Experience

Home Health Caregiving For Alzheimer’s Disease

Most of our 28+ years of experience with dementia care has been providing home health care help at home for someone with Alzheimer’s disease. Since 1986, when our Director/Owner helped start up one of the first modern day type of Alzheimer’s care facility/programs in the United States, he has had a very special place in his heart for providing in home care for Alzheimer’s disease.

Our success and Alzheimer’s Association awards for providing outstanding caregivers in home for someone with Alzheimer’s disease can be attributed to Care Mountain’s unique Alzheimer’s caregiver staff selection, placement and continuous care management process. This has resulted in one of the highest home health care agency success rates caring for someone at home with Alzheimer’s disease, and a caregiver staff turnover rate that is significantly lower than our industry average.

Care Mountain has never had a single State complaint regarding it’s Alzheimer’s home health care, has never had a family dismiss it from a case due to dissatisfaction with it’s care of a Love One with Alzheimer’s disease, and is BBB A+ rated. Very few local home health care agencies in business 10+ years working extensively with Alzheimer’s home health care can claim all this!

Please be assured we recognize the uniqueness of each family’s situation, so staff placement and plan of care for each client is customized based upon family input. If you are needing help caring at home for your Mom, Dad, husband, wife or another Loved One with Alzheimer’s disease, then a caregiver experienced with Alzheimer’s care is just a phone call away.

Home Health Care For Vascular Disease Related Dementia

Home health care for vascular related dementia is the second most common type of dementia care giving we have done over the years. Our reputation here for high quality care is as good as that with our home health care for Alzheimer’s disease.

Vascular related dementia has many important distinctions from Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, so we place staff uniquely trained and experienced with this type of dementia care. Since vascular dementia is often accompanied by post stroke physiological related deficits, we have found it helpful to place staff in these situations that can also assist with physical and occupational therapy. This has often played a key role in clients regaining their independence quicker.

Home Health Care For Mixed Dementia

Home health care for mixed dementia involves care giving for abnormalities linked to more than one type of dementia occurring simultaneously in the brain. Our care giving for mixed dementia has become much more frequent over recent years. Our reputation here is also as good as that with our home health care of Alzheimer’s disease. Since we are working with multiple dementia’s, we ensure staff is trained and experienced with all involved dementias. Families have reported that our case management staff has been an exceptionally helpful source of support in coping with the complexities of care giving for multiple types of dementia’s simultaneously.

Home Health Care For Dementia With Lewy bodies (LBD or Lewy Body Dementia)

While we have successful experiences providing in home care for Lewy Body dementia, it has been less than our experiences with Alzheimer’s disease, or vascular and mixed dementia’s. Our quality reputation here though, is as good as that with in home Alzheimer’s care. We have successfully helped many clients having Lewy Body dementia with Parkinson’s disease.

Home Health Care For Parkinson’s Related Dementia

Providing home health care for Parkinson’s related dementia is tied with mixed dementia as the third most common type of dementia we have successfully provided care giving for over the years. Our quality reputation here is also as good as that with our in home care for someone with Alzheimer’s disease.

Home Health Care For Frontotemporal Dementia

While we have been very successful providing in home care for those with Frontotemporal dementia, it is the type of dementia we have experienced the least over the years. Most of our experience with this type of dementia has been with in home care for someone with Pick’s disease. Our quality reputation here is also as good as that for in home care of someone with Alzheimer’s disease.
